Successful Life Skills Event
Thank you to everyone who gave up their time on a hot evening and came along to a very interesting and enjoyable session.
The Life Skills event was organised by Marc Fletcher, Resilience Lead for Earlston Community Council, with training and information provided by Earlston’s Davie Wilson from Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
A great turnout from all ages and including three staff members from Scottish Borders Council Leader Valley School, learning how to carry out CPR and how to use a community defibrillator as one was recently moved to outside the school.
Technical problems meant sound meant this video could not be played, now available here.
One of the conversations was about an App that could be used to identify your location if in trouble or helping with a cardiac arrest.
The name is What3words, information online.
